Our themes for 2019 were Time (week 1) and Space (week 2).  During Time week my red, orange and yellow groups each explored different periods in art history.  Red group created Paul Klee inspired castles, orange group travelled all the way back to the time of cave art and yellow group created Egyptian profile portraits.  In week 2, red group explored positive and negative space with stars, orange group learned about atmospheric perspective by creating aliens far and near and yellow group learned how architects design their spaces by creating cross-section plans of spaceships!
